Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Saturday in Ternopil took part in the Celebration of the 360th Anniversary of the Zboriv Battle

Delivering speech on the People´s Veche "Grand God, Bless us Ukraine!", V. Lytvyn declared: "I Am convinced that this event should have been non-formal but the great holiday of the whole Ukrainian people. Exactly on this place many many years ago the basis of Ukraine as a country were founded. Today, more then ever we must return to our original sources".

V. Lytvyn emphasized that the past should be a good lesson for us as "on the first place should always been thing common, mutual for all the society, mutual for all the people". V. Lytvyn reminded the words of Bogdan Khmelnytskiy who declared ibn that period: "firstly I was fighting for the offense, now I am fighting for our faith, Ukraine and our people".

The second lesson according to V. Lytvyn is in the necessity to count only on your own forces your own dignity. "I am convinced that signs we observe today that reflect different political leaders of Ukraine will let us speak that we would put first only things that unite us and everything will be good in Ukraine", - he declared.

One more lesson according to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is in the fact that "for our victories and achievement we should receive awards". "When we see our history in its extension and remember not only our defense by great victories as well then we will prove that we have Ukrainian nature something peculiar among other nations and countries", - V. Lytvyn declared.

"Feeling of responsibility will let us enter new quality of state building, formation of Ukraine not only according to attributes but according to its inner sense in order each of us can say everywhere with dignity that he is a citizen of great country, name of which is Ukraine", - he announced.
